Nancy Leona Moir

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nancy on November 29th, 2023. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her mother (Iola), father (Emmerson), 2 brothers (Richard and Walter), and daughter (Susan).

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Peter, daughters, Lisa (David), Belinda (Patrick), Leanna (John), and son, Jason (Christine), grandchildren, Christopher, Ryan, Carly, Holly, Michael, Julie, and Tanner; great-grandchildren, Jace and Jaelyn.

She was a long time employee in the Canadian Coast Guard (personnel).

Nancy enjoyed playing cards, reading, shopping, and the daily crossword puzzles. She loved to vacation in the summer’s at the cottage in MacKay’s Corner, Pictou County, and Tiverton with her family.

She left us with lots of memories and great stories.

At Nancy’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
