Maureen was a wonderful friend for the past 30 years.  We haven't seen each other since her move to Nova Scotia but we have always stayed in touch for our nice chats.  So sorry to hear of your loss of a great mom, Nana, sister & friend.  I will certainly be there for her memories in St. John's. Maureen was an amazing, kind and compassionate lady. Quiet by nature but very impactful by her actions.  She was a very close friend to my mother Hilda, always being selfless and caring when my mother needed assistance. Maureen’s daily visits and phone calls were always the highlight of my mother’s day.  Maureen was so proud of her family, especially her grandchildren, as was evident in every conversation. Maureen will not be forgotten, we were blessed to have had her in our lives.

So sorry to hear that Maureen has passed away.  She and mom (Hilda) became great friends while living in The Linden.  Maureen checked up on mom 2 or 3 times a day and usually they ended the evening having a snack together and sharing a good laugh.   Maureen always loved to talk about her grandchildren and the events in their day.  She was so proud of them and loved them dearly.  Maureen's acts of kindness will never be forgotten, as she was such a good soul.

Maureen was a kind and thoughtful neighbour to all at The Linden. Her quiet grace and thoughtfulness stood out and a visit with her made your day brighter. She was a genuine and caring soul and we are so glad we got to know her. Sincere condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of your loss Annmarie and Family. Maureen was a good friend of our mom (Hilda) and they enjoyed their daily tea/coffee and chats over the years. My mom will dearly miss her. So sorry for your loss.  I didn’t know Maureen well, we always met in the underground parking and always chatted and laughed how we parked.  It became a joke over the last 5 years.  I will miss our chats and our laughs.  She was such a sweet special person.

I'm so so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mom. I have many fond memories with your mom in South Brook. I spend many hrs at her place doing house cleaning, ironing, which we both detested and of course baby sitting the princess! Along with many cups of tea and chats at the kitchen table. Hold your beautiful memories close my doll. She will forever be in your heart. RIP Maureen and enjoy your reunion with your man. My heart felt condolences to you all and all her family members.
