Marilyn Marie Hartling

Age 78, of Halifax, formerly from Yarmouth, passed away May 9, 2017 at Northwood Center.

Born July 24, 1939 in Yarmouth, loving daughter of the late Frances (Redding) and Gerald Grant.

She enjoyed Bible studies, church services and listening to the radio. She deeply loved the Lord Jesus Christ and died in His loving arms.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Hartling, Truro; son, Kevin (Zelma) Hartling, Halifax; grandchildren, Josh McNair, Rhiannon McNair, Liza Hartling and 5 great-grandchildren; a sister Deane MacArthur, Charlottetown and brother Bob Grant, Yarmouth.

Her advice to others is to try, to be kind to others, to love, and to forgive.

Cremation has taken place under the care of A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home. Burial to be held at a later date.
