Lawrence Douglas Zwicker

Zwicker, Lawrence Douglas - 84 of Dartmouth passed away Friday October 28, 2011 in Arborstone Enhanced Care Halifax. Born in Halifax he was a son of the late George and Anna (Robar) Zwicker. He was a former employee of Farmers Dairy’s for over 40 years, he enjoyed playing softball and bowling. He was an avid sports fan. Surviving are daughters Grace (Larry) Brown Sackville, Gloria, Dartmouth, Rose Marie (Paul) Brook, Eastern Passage, Shirley Peddle, Alberta, sons Roy ( Laurie), Dartmouth, John (Linda) Muise, Ottawa, sister Grace Staples, brother Lester (Eileen) both of Dartmouth, 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn, brothers Murray, Ernie, Charlie and sister Irene in infancy. Visiting will be held 2 –4 6 –8 pm Tuesday, funeral Wednesday 11 am all in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Portland St., Rev. Richard Beiber officiating, Burial to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Donations to, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Charity of choice.
