Helen Marguerite MacLeod

MacLeod,Helen M. 83 of MicMac Blvd.,Dartmouth, passed away Sept. 23, 2011 at the QEII. She was the daughter of the late John and Tina MacVicar of Sydney. She is survived by daughter Ann(Alex)MacLeod, Sydney, grandchildren Darryl(Nicole)MacLeod, Sydney, Heather MacLeod, Dartmouth, great grandchildren Annsonia, Declan and Rowan, sisters Florence Aguinaga, Kanata Ont, Marilyn Somers, Bedford, brother John MacVicar, North Bay, Ont, sister in law Edna MacVicar, Edwardsville and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Fraser in 2004 and brother Douglas MacVicar. Helen was a former employee at the NS Hospital. She was a member of the Woodlawn United Church and belonged to Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter, OES, UCW Naomi Unit and IODE. Visitation will be held Tuesday. September, 27,2011 from 2-4 and 6-8pm in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home ,217 Portland St., Dartmouth, NS (461-0700) where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, September. 28, 2011 at 11am. Rev.
