PROCTOR, Hazel E. - It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the sudden passing of Hazel Proctor of Dartmouth on April 5, 2022, days after her 85th birthday.
“Purple Haze” graced all our days with a faithfully generous heart, a tremendously lively spirit, and a playful sense of the absurd.
Predeceased by her husband Gordon, her parents Wilfred Harpell and Muriel Bingley Hayne, her stepfather Douglas Hayne, her brother Brenton (Barb) and her beloved daughter Catharine. Hazel is survived by her son Craig, brothers Aubrey (Isabel) and Ralph Harpell, several nieces and nephews and countless friends.
