Gordon Clyde Connors

Connors, Gordon Clyde_83, Dartmouth, Died August 24, 2013 at the Halifax Infirmary of complications from a fall. Born in Halifax, raised at Albro Lake he was a son of the late Ralph and Lillian Hudson (Jenkins). From 1948 to 1991 he was employed as a press operator at Moirs, Rolph-Clarke-Stone, Lawson Graphics and Royale Print. In his younger years he was active in community affairs and was one of the volunteers who created Little Sandy Beach at Big Albro Lake. His hobby was woodworking. Surviving are his wife, the former Elaine Faulkner; three children_ Jacqueline (Thomas) Bates, Eastern Passage; Donna (Gary) Lynds, Hubley; Donald, Dartmouth; four grandchildren_ Gordon, Michelle, Stephen, Maureen; great-grandson Alexander; sister Marie(George) Wallin, Dartmouth and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandmother Elizabeth Brooks Connors; grandfather William Jenkins; infant daughter Mary; brother Ralph (Lorraine), sister Eileen (Stanley) Bowles and his wife’s parents, Ernest and Mary (Ferguson) Faulkner . Cremation has taken place. At Gordon’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
