Bissett, Frank Ainslie – passed away peacefully on July 17, 2013, in his 91st year in the Ocean View Manor, Eastern Passage. Born in Cole Harbour, Halifax County, he was the only son of the late Bryden Ainslie and Phebe Ann (Ogilvie) Bissett. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Ruby Martha (Morash) Bissett; sister, Dorothy Jean (Bissett) Settle and Marion Eliza (Bissett) Chafe; two God daughters, Jennifer Elena (Morash) McCormack and Barbara Jean (Fall) Ripley (Albert); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Hilda May (Bissett) Fall; brother-in-law, David Fall and nephew David Fall. Frank worked all of his early life with his father on their farm in Cole Harbour and until the 1970`s he sold eggs and fresh vegetables from the farm to door to door customers every Friday and milk to the Woodlawn dairy. Frank was a wonderful man, he will be remembered for his smiles, quiet manners, quick humour and his kindness. Visitation will be on Sunday July 21 from 1-3 and 6-8pm in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS. Funeral service will be 11am Monday July 22 in the Church of Saint Andrew, Cole Harbour. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
