Dicks, Dorothy “Dot” Mildred (nee Collins) - Age 79, of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2014 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Sydney, NS, Dot lived in North Sydney until moving to Dartmouth in 2001. Daughter of the late George and Susan (Waye) Collins. Predeceased by her husband, William (Bud), her daughter Dana MacGillivray, brothers Harold, George and Malcolm, and sisters Etta Roberts and Lydia Noseworthy. Survived by her sister Gladys (Walter) Head, sister-in-law Edith Collins, children David (Linda), Darlene (Brian) Read, Derek, and Dale Denny (Scott Pickard), son-in-law Bernie MacGillivray, grandchildren Shannon (Nathan) Doyle, Jennifer, Daniel Pyke, Christopher Pyke (Mhari LeMarque), Jordan Denny and Katie MacGillivray, and great granddaughter Brooklynn Doyle.
