Noonan, David Michael – 60, of Dartmouth, passed away at the V.G. Hospital, Sat., February 4, 2012. Born in Sheet Harbour, he was the son of the late Edwin (Ted) and Connie (James) Noonan (Johnson). David was employed at Partsource. He had many hobbies and interests including stamp and coin collecting, photography and travelling, to name a few. He was an avid lighthouse enthusiast and was deeply concerned for its future. David was Secretary and held many other past positions in the Dartmouth Lions Club. He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, his love and devotion for his family and friends and being Tim Hortons #1 fan. He is survived by his loving sister Pat Noonan, Cole Harbour, the love of his life neice/Goddaughter Shawna (Jay) Bowser, Dartmouth; sister Pat (Jim) Logan, Grand Desert, brothers Allen Johnson, Halifax, Tom (Sheila) Johnson, Lake Echo, very special cousin/friend Barrie MacNeill, several nieces and nephews including Godson Mark Johnson. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his stepfather David Johnson. Visitation will be held at A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where a Lions Club Memorial service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Peters Church, 10 Maple St., Dartmouth at 10 am on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dartmouth Lions Club.
