Alfreda Marie Martin

Age 87, of Dartmouth, passed away July 16, 2021 in Oakwood Terrace. Born in Haute Aborjagane, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphee and Arthemise (Boudreau) LeBlanc. In her earlier years she worked at Moirs Chocolate in Halifax and later on worked as a cook at Little Nashville. She loved playing cards, VLT machines and going to the Casino. She is survived by her children, Ralph (Laura), Jeanette, Bettyann and Rickey (Annette); son-in-laws, Donald MacDonald and Donald Donner; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by husband, Ralph Martin Sr.; son, Dennis; brothers, Arthur, Aurele, Alfred, Aquilla; sisters, Ovelina Power, Mary Stokes, Bernice Field, Laura LaBonte and Frances Jennings. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation is by invitation only. Graveside service is open to the public and will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville on Saturday, July 24th at 12:30pm. Special thanks to all the staff at Oakwood Terrace for their kindness, love, patience and compassion shown to mom during her stay.
