Maria Fernanda Pacheco

Born in Furnas, Sao Miguel, Azores, a daughter of the late Jose Pevide and Emilia (Santos) Costa, she had resided in Portugal and Bristol, RI before moving to Tolland to be with her daughter.

In earlier years, she had worked at Carol Cable in Warren, RI.

Mrs. Pacheco enjoyed needlepoint, praying for her family and the sound of laughter in her life.

Her family includes a daughter, Ana Maria Medeiros and husband Mario of Tolland, CT; a son, Duarte M. Pacheco and wife Rebecca of Marlboro, CT; a daughter-in-law, Connie Pacheco of South Dartmouth; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Antonio M. Pacheco.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10am in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
