William J. Schulze Jr. of Brookfield, CT, known affectionately as Bill and Pop Pop, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the age of 77. Bill was born in Danbury, CT on June 3, 1947 to the late Helen (Blonski) Schulze and William Schulze Sr.
Bill worked for Local Union 777 as a steamfitter after serving in the United States Army.
Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his true passion was his love for classic cars that he shared with his grandson Billy Jr.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jeffrey Schulze, his son William (Billy) Schulze, brother-in-law Chris Craft and four legged best friend Duke.
Bill is survived by two sisters; Pam Smart of New Milford and Cindy Craft of Brookfield, his daughter-in-law Stephanie Schulze, daughter Kimberley McDermott and husband Richard, and three grandchildren, Billy Schulze Jr., Ryan and Jessica McDermott, and niece Cristin Delinski and her husband Clay.
A burial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave. Ext. Danbury.
