Tina Turner-Johnson passed away suddenly in Danbury Hospital due to complications from an unexpected Illness. She went on to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 1st. She is survived by her husband Dale Johnson, her father and mother Read (Skip) and Judy Turner. She is preceded by her sister Sandra Turner. She left behind many aunts and uncles and cousins.
Tina was a bubbly, happy, positive human being who always put others before herself. If you were lucky enough to know Tina, you would know the beautiful smile she possessed and that her heart was overflowing with love! It was rare that you didn't see her smiling. Tina had a deep love for animals. She and her husband Dale rescued many cats, "Furr Babies" as she liked to call them and it wasn't unusual for them to have several at a time roaming around their home receiving love from them.
Tina attended Abbott Tech for two years and graduated from Ace High School in 1994. She continued on in customer service for several different companies. It was normal practice for the customers to ask for her by name, oftentimes even lining up to wait for her.
Tina had a great love for music and dance. She started dancing when she was 2 years old. She loved to dance in the mirror, in the kitchen, on the bed of her dad's truck, and anywhere when the mood struck her, which was quite often. Heaven received a true angel! Tina will be sorely missed by so many.
A private memorial will be held at The Mountain Church of God, 159 Pocono Road, Brookfield, CT on August 4, 2023, at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Disabled American Veterans in Tina's name as she had a great respect for the wounded men and women who served our country.
