Teresa R. Strano

Born in Danbury to the late Louis and Rose Mazza, Teresa attended St. Peter School in Danbury. She and Sebastian were married in 1940.

A lifelong Danbury resident, Teresa was a seamstress in Danbury for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Peter Church in Danbury.

Teresa enjoyed family dinners on Sunday and her family will miss her wonderful cooking.

In addition to her husband and parents, Teresa was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Dennis Silva; her siblings: Mary Repko, Sam Mazza and Fred Mazza.

Survivors include her son: Orazio J. Strano and his fiancée, Joyce, of Danbury. Her grandchildren: Sebastian, Timothy (Elizabeth) and Matthew (Marianne Morelli) Strano, Jennifer Weaver and William (Angelica) Silva. Her great grandchildren: Gracie, Skyler, Sebastian and Ariella. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Friends will be received from 3pm-6pm on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
