Susan was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Fortin. She graduated from St. Peter School, Danbury High School and the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Henry Abbott Technical School.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Kristi Zimmer of New York City and Jennifer and Maureen Molinaro of Danbury, as well as four grandchildren: Jada, Ava, Brie and Jett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Church, on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Friends may call at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Blvd., Memphis, TN 03105.
