Sue was born on June 10, 1951, in New Rochelle, NY. She was the daughter of the late Severio Villamagna and the late Louise Rossi Petersen. She graduated from St Gabriel High School in New Rochelle, NY and attended Iona College for 2 years. She married Bob Broderick on June 26, 1982, at Iona College. She worked in retail merchandising starting at Macy’s in New Rochelle and for the past three years at Stop and Shop in New Fairfield. For 18 years, she was an active volunteer at St Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Harrison, NY, and has been a parishioner at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield for the past 24 years.
Sue is survived by her husband, Bob Broderick, her son Rob Jr and her brother James Villamagna of Great Neck, NY. She is also survived by her brother-in-law James Broderick (Lisa); sister-in-law Grace Capuano (Marty); brother-in-law Tom Broderick (Patty); nieces and nephews: Kathleen, Jimmy, Kelly, Ryan, Michael, Christine, Katie and Kevin. She is also survived by her cousins Vicki Rasmussen (Bill), Celia Krippene (Rob), Cynthia Cardillo (Raymond) and Angela Bauer Sanders (Gary). She was predeceased by her parents and her cousin, John Bauer.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT 06810.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at St. Edward the Confessor Parish, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT 06812. Interment will be private.
