Stephen T. Andrewson

Stephen Thomas Andrewson, 76, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2018 at Danbury Regional Hospice with his family by his side. Stephen was born to the late Stephen and Stella Andrewson on January 23, 1941 in Bridgeport, CT. Stephen grew up in Bridgeport, CT where he then graduated from Warren Harding High in 1959 and went on to complete his education by receiving a A+ certification. Steve worked for Perkin-Elmer Corporation for 35 years and then worked an additional ten years at Pitney Bowes as a contractor.

Steve was an astronomy enthusiast, he loved all things math and science related. He loved building and flying model airplanes. Steve loved to play tricks for all his family and friends. He was superior in his card tricks. Steve was an avid poker player to the point he would be in charge of poker clubs both in Danbury, CT and Sarasota, FL. Stephen and his wife, Paula enjoyed wintering in Sarasota, FL for the past 14 years.

Stephen is survived by his devoted wife Paula (Carriera) Andrewson. Stephen also leaves behind his loving daughters, Lisa Targouski (Walter), Christine Morin (Robert) and Jennifer Samatulski (Craig). In addition Stephen leaves behind five grandchildren, Christopher Tallerdy, Anna, Sara and Kayla Targouski, Evan Samatulski and great granddaughter Skylar Tallerdy along with his brother, sister and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place at St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury, CT on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Praxair Cancer Center of Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Avenue Danbury, CT 06810.
