On February 16, 2024, Ruth Helena Snodgrass passed away surrounded by her loving family. Ruth will be deeply missed by her entire family, which includes her daughter, Jennifer Rodrigues, her husband Carlos and their daughter, Emma. Her daughter, Robin Snodgrass and her son, Dylan Carmichael. Her son, Sean Snodgrass, his fiancée, Michelle Cano, and his daughters, Ryann, and Kelsey Snodgrass. Ruthie’s Siblings, Barbara Stamatelos, and her husband Constantine, Richard Richter, and his wife Madeline, her many beloved nieces and nephews and her sweet cat Charlette.
Ruth is predeceased by her husband, Charles Snodgrass, her brother, Robert Richter and her brother, Daniel Richter.
Ruth was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was an at home mom who nurtured and cared for her children. Ruth adored her grandchildren and relished spending time with them. The holidays were her most joyous times and she cherished the time spent with family celebrating these special moments together.
Ruth was a great lover of nature and animals. She always had beloved pets by her side and enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. Ruth could never resist taking in a lonely stray animal. Somehow, these animals were lucky enough to land on her doorstep and she would always help them in any way she could.
Ruth will be remembered as a strong and resilient woman who had a deep love for her family, nature, and pets. Ruth’s presence in her family’s lives will be forever missed and she will always be remembered and loved.
Ruth’s funeral service will be held privately on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Green Funeral Home, Danbury, CT. Ruth will be laid to rest at Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
