Robert James Ogden of Danbury, CT beloved husband and best friend of Vera (Murphy) Ogden passed away after a short illness on June 25, 2015 while vacationing with his family in Celebration, Florida. Bob instilled personal and social responsibility, integrity, honesty and the importance of loyalty and dedication to everyone and anyone who was a part of his life.
Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family has many happy memories of him. One memory all his grandchildren have were the personalized birthday cards he would create on his computer, sending them with love and including the phrase, “Created by Pop Pop” on the back of the card. He was someone who loved to be around his family, enjoyed discussing politics and was a devout Roman Catholic his entire life.
