Robert W. Nolte

Bob was born July 14, 1943 in Yonkers, NY the son of the late John H. and Elizabeth (Lang) Nolte. He attended Sacred Heart School until the tenth grade when his family moved to Brewster, NY. Early in his life, Bob was an accomplished accordionist, performing on the Ed Sullivan Show, and throughout the greater New York metropolitan area. Bob was employed by Stop and Shop Supermarkets and affiliated stores in both CT and NY in various capacities for over 50 years, most recently at its New Fairfield store. He enjoyed sharing special times with his family, sports, and fishing.

In addition to his wife Joan, Bob is survived by his son Robert J. Nolte and his wife Anne of Oxford, and his daughter Michelle Lynn DeLuca and her husband Joseph of Sandy Hook.

The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering to be held on Friday August 10th in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street Danbury from 5 thru 8pm. A prayer service will take place at 7:30 pm.
