Bob graduated from Regis High School and Fordham University prior to serving in the United States Air Force from 1949-1954. Bob was married 67 years to the love of his life Peggy Flynn. Bob worked most of his life for Rockefeller Center in New York City. Bob was an avid golfer having landed two hole-in-ones in his lifetime. Bob also enjoyed woodworking and loved the Mets and Giants. Above all Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Bill, Jack and Ned along with his sister Helene. Bob is survived in life by his brother Peter (Maureen) his children Robert, Jeannie (John), Sue (Lenny) and Michael (Caryn). In addition Bob leaves behind his 12 loving grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for Robert will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary Star of the Sea, 596 City Island Avenue, Bronx, NY 10464. A burial will occur Friday, August 9, 2019 at Pelham Cemetery, King Avenue, Bronx, NY.
