Robert V. Lemay

Bob was born on February 15, 1935, in Worcester MA. He was the beloved husband of Arlene (Chaput) Lemay for 60 years. The son of the late Victor T. Lemay and Irene (LeBlanc) Lemay.

Bob attended St. John's High School as well as Worcester Polytechnic Institute both in Worcester attaining a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a manager of Electronic engineering central scientific services at IBM Research and Development in Yorktown Heights NY until he retired in the year 2000. Bob was a member of the Danbury Men's Club. He enjoyed playing bridge, golf at Richter Park, playing racquetball at the Brookfield YMCA, and his many vacations to Rhode Island and Florida.

In addition to his wife Arlene, Bob is survived by his children Robert J. (Sascha) Lemay, his daughter Suzanne Lemay Martins, and his beloved grandchildren Andrew Martins, Jack Lemay, and Shannon Masi. Bob was predeceased by his brother Paul. J. Lemay of Lowell, MA.

Calling hours for Bob will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 10:30 am at St. Edward The Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT. Burial will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Rt. 37, New Fairfield, CT.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or any other Dementia research, www.alz.org or Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT.
