Regina A. Morgan, 92, passed away peacefully Sunday June 21, at her home in Danbury CT surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 1, 1922, the daughter of the late Martin J. and Mary A. Hayden of Brooklyn NY. She was predeceased by her brother Martin J. (and wife Phyllis) Hayden. Regina worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in New York before she met and married Hugh Morgan, and then moved to Danbury and started their family. Later she joined Hugh at Sherwin Williams Co, where she worked for 25 years.
Regina was an active member at St. Peter Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Guild member and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was also a Pastoral volunteer and Lay Minister at Saint John Paul II for 30 years and she spent many hours volunteering at Danbury Hospital and Daily Bread.
Regina is survived by her husband Hubert V. Morgan, brother Robert (Maryann) Hayden, daughters Carol (Steve) Rosenfield, Kathy (Bill) Ehli, Pat (Jeb) Baker and Debi Morgan, seven Grandchildren, soon to be ten Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 26, at St. Peter Church in Danbury. Friends will be received Thursday, June 25 from 5 to 8 pm at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
