Ralph A. D’Amico of Danbury passed away Monday, February 28, 2022, at the age of 87 after a long illness. He was born August 24, 1934, in the Bronx, New York, son of the late Ralph D’Amico and Mamie (Golio) D’Amico.
Ralph was predeceased by his siblings Rocco, Dominic, and Gloria. He was a Draftsman for Perkin Elmer and moved his family to Danbury in 1965.
Ralph is survived by his children, Mary Alice Falcone and her husband Robert, Richard D’Amico, and Ralph D’Amico and his wife Debbie; as well as his ex-wife Caroline D’Amico, five grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to recognize and thank the staff of Western Rehabilitation Care, especially Dee Gerrity, for their compassionate care for Ralph in his residency there. The appreciation of your kindness and care for Ralph cannot be expressed in words.
Calling hours will be Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 7, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Avenue, Danbury, CT. Burial to follow at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury, CT.
