Peter Charles Yursik, 41, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2024. He is survived by his loving father, Joseph C. Yursik, and stepmother, Patricia Yursik. Peter also leaves behind his cherished siblings: sister Michele Watkins (John); brothers Joseph Scott and John “Jack” Paul; stepsister Daniella Kemmesies (Kurt); and stepbrother Christopher Anca (Annika). He was a proud and devoted uncle to his nieces and nephew, Lily, Isaac, and Jessica Watkins. Peter will be deeply missed by his lifelong friend and partner, Kristen Troester.
For over 20 years, Peter was a valued and dedicated employee at the Ridgefield Supply Company. He was deeply respected by his peers, customers, and colleagues, who admired his strong work ethic and infectious personality. Known for his engaging smile, sharp wit, and playful sense of humor, Peter had a unique gift for making everyone feel at ease. His warm presence and genuine character left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Peter was predeceased by his beloved mother, Jennie Lynn (Bailey) Yursik, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.
Peter will be remembered for his deep love and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His kindness, humor, and generosity will continue to inspire and comfort those who mourn his passing. Though his sudden departure leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of those who loved him.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street Danbury on Saturday January 4, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Interment will be private.
