We met when I worked in a deli next to Ct National bank back in the 80’s. We were in each other’s life for over 30 years through the good and bad. Nancy was like the sister I never had. I’m sorry you were taken from us way to early. I missed you kiddo. Xo

Steve,  I just saw obituary about Nancy"s passing.  We are so sorry.   



Nancy was the kindest person I have ever met. She would come into the animal hospital I work at with her pets and always made sure to ask how everyone and their families were doing. Her positivity would put us all in a great mood. I was fortunate enough to share numerous laughs with her. Such an amazing person, you will be greatly missed.  

Nancy was joy and love.  She deeply loved Coach. I am so blessed to have known Nan and worked with Coach. 

Nancy was a very beautiful person inside and out. She found the best qualities in everyone around her and was always was kind, always thoughtful.  We send our prayers and love to the family and are so very sorry for your loss.

It was quite a shock to hear of Nancy's sudden passing. Nancy was one of my favorite students during my 45 years at Danbury High School.
It was also my pleasure to have worked so closely with her for many years in the Main Office. Her easy smile and daily dedication to her work keeping the hundreds of class, departments, clubs and other accounts up-to-date will be a true loss to DHS.

So sorry to hear the news.  She was a rockstar in the DHS main office and always put a smile on my face when I came to discuss the cheer account or just stroll through.  I loved the garden she kept with Steve at their house and the tranquility it showcased. Steve I am shocked and saddened to hear this tragic news about Nancy. No matter when I had a problem at Danbury High School, she was always willing to stop whatever she was doing and lend a helping hand. It didn't matter who you were, Nancy took the time to help you with care and respect. She will be missed by so many. May she rest in peace and may God bring peace and comfort to your heart and all your family.

Aunt Nancy was such a kind person.  My siblings and I got to know her in our 20’s but it was as if we had known her long before.  She and Uncle Steve NEVER missed a Memorial Day picnic at my house and I will forever miss her.   She meant so much to so many!!!

Whenever I would enter the main office at DHS, Nancy would greet me with a cheerful smile. She always took the time to ask how I was doing and what she could do for me.  Nancy never seemed to mind being interrupted to help me solve whatever the pressing issue was and  she always solved it with grace and humor.  I will hold precious her beautiful spirit, and her beaming smile.  Our Nancy will be profoundly missed by all of her colleagues.  My deepest condolences to Steve and all her loved ones.

Nancy’s smile and sense of humor will always be remembered. We were all fortunate to have her working in the main office at DHS. My condolences to Steve and family.

A cherished, lifelong friend, I loved running into Nancy at the grocery store and getting together with her and our mutual friend, Jill, for lunch when Jill was in town.  A beautiful, caring soul, for sure.  I am blessed to have called her friend for almost 60 years and will cherish all the memories we shared. Nancy was SO loved by so many people. I must have seen her at least once a week when I worked at DHS between class advisor and dance team stuff. She was always so kind and you could tell she genuinely cared about what was going on in your life when you talked to her. She was a bright light in the main office. She always had a smile on her face. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Nancy was nothing less than an absolute ray of sunshine and a true treasure. I loved working with her for ten years, and running into her in the grocery store every so often. I will miss Nancy very much. My thoughts are with her entire family during this extremely difficult time.

Nancy was a ray of sunshine in any work day that I spoke with her on the phone. I work in a district office, but had some work at the high school long ago and saw her regularly then, and spoke with Nancy on occasion by telephone since. Really, Nancy kicked the clouds out of any gloomy day! I was greatly saddened by the news. I am very sorry for your loss and we all will miss her presence.

Hearing of Nancy's passing was a shock and made me so sad. I was one of Nancy's office workers when I was a student at DHS. I am now an Administrative Assistant for DPS and every time Nancy and I spoke on the phone or saw each other at a meeting, she would always bring up how she remembered "little Sandy" as her office worker. I will truly miss those conversations and memories that we enjoyed together.

I was so saddened on Monday when I arrived at work and learned the news. While a sudden death is always shocking, traumatizing etc Nancy's loss is particularly heartbreaking. She was known and loved by everyone. 

Nancy was always the calm at the center of the hectic business of any office. I and many others counted on her unflappable, kind and smart advice to handle and sometimes untangle finances for clubs and other groups we advised as teachers in a big school. She could wipe away the tension with her graceful smile and reassurance that she would help straighten it out. I think that is a metaphor for how she operated in or out of the office.

I am so sorry  to hear about Nancy. I cannot imagine your grief over the loss of such a wonderful person.
Nancy brought such love, caring, fun and light with her, and she generously shared those gifts with others. Her uplifting laughter and her spontaneous sense of humor were invaluable.  I will remember her for her kind heart and her sharp wit; what sunshine she radiated. Take care...may you feel the support and love of family and friends. 

Whenever I went to the main office Nancy & I always had some cheerful moments.  She was always upbeat & there to help you with whatever you needed.  We had some good laughs.  I will miss her.

There are very few people who ask you how you are and really listen to your answer. Nan was one of those people and not only would she listen to your answer, but she would remember your answer and talk to you about it the next time you saw her. It didn’t matter if it was a day later or a year later, Nan would remember. Nan’s sincerity was a special gift she gave to us all.

When I think of Nancy, I think of her smile and her sense of humor.  If you weren't in a good mood before you spoke with Nancy, you surely were after! She was always kind and ready to help. I am so sorry to hear of Nancy’s sudden passing.  Nancy was a rock for me when I was advising the Classes of 2014 and 2018.  I never would have gotten through those 8 years without her.  She talked me off of many ledges, always had a kind word and a funny story.  When I would burst into the office with money to deposit or a task that needed to be done she would help me take a breath and relax... and then she’d take care of everything.  She was amazing and will be missed.  My thoughts are with her family... may you find the strength that she always showed to others to get you through this.  

Nancy will be missed greatly. She was such a calming and steadying presence  in her sphere of influence at DHS. Her laughter and good humor will be remembered.
