Nancy was born in Danbury, CT, a daughter of the late Abraham and Kathleen Andrews. She was a 1955 graduate of Danbury High School.
Nancy was a long-time resident of Danbury, where she worked at Western Connecticut State University. Students and staff spoke kindly of Nancy and her bright presence throughout her career working in the offices.
She went on to retire with her husband to Goshen in 1999, where she spent her time involved with the local Garden Club and other community activities. She had an avid love for cooking and hosting her family and friends.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy, after 63 years of marriage, as well as her siblings, Patricia Andrews and Joseph Andrews.
More than anything, Nancy was proud of her family. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Trompetter, and her husband, Paul, of Warren, CT. Additionally, she is survived by her granddaughter Marni Smith and her husband, Trevor, and her great-grandchildren, Connor and Sadie, of Litchfield, CT.
Even in her final days, she absolutely lit up the room while spending time with her loved ones.
Private services will be held for her family.
