Michael G Kusen, 64 passed away peacefully at the West Haven Veterans Hospital on October 17th. He was born in Jamaica, New York and lived most of his life in New Fairfield and Danbury. He served honorably in the Army during the Vietnam era.
"What Happened" was his favorite expression. What Michael loved most was spending time with his family in Danbury, New Hampshire and Florida. He enjoyed his mornings at The Dorothy Day Hospitality Center with his Morning Glory friends. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan.
Michael was predeceased by his father,Peter. His is survived by his mother Caroline of Florida and brothers and sisters: Kenny, Eileen, Paul, Karl, Mary, Nancy and Mark. He had 10 nieces and nephews and 4great grand nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Sunday October 21st from 3:00 to 6:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield on Monday October 22nd at 10:30am. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield.
