Mike was born on July 3rd, 1969 in New York City and was raised in the Bronx, NY. He moved to Queens when he was a teenager. A proud graduate of Bronx Science High School, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Albany. He began his career at the New York Stock Exchange with Bear Stearns, where he worked for 16 years. He then transitioned to a successful career in financial services, remaining with J.P. Morgan Chase until his passing, where he was admired for his compassion, willingness to help others, and genuine care he showed to colleagues and clients alike.
Mike shared nearly 27 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Anita. Together, they raised four amazing children—Madison (26), Ryan (24), Morgan (22), and Megan (20)—who were the pride and joy of his life. Whether hosting lively family gatherings or coaching one of his kids’ sports teams, Mike was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.
Known for his intelligence and quick wit, Mike had a natural talent for games and friendly competition. He brought a humble edge to trivia, cards, and backyard games among family and friends, but it was the laughs and company that mattered most to him. Also being a true sports enthusiast, Mike was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Chargers, and New York Rangers. Additionally, all four of his children attended the University of Connecticut, therefore Mike became an avid Huskies fan.
Above all, Mike will be remembered as the epitome of a family man—kind, selfless, and always smiling. Many who knew him describe him simply as “the nicest man they ever met.”
