Mario Venturini

Mario was born July 12. 1954 in Bronx, NY the son of Anna (Rossi) Venturini of Danbury, and the late Joseph Venturini. He was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School, and received his degree in Communications from Dutchess Community College. Mario was also a graduate of the Culinary Institute, New Hyde Park, NY.

Mario was employed for 34 years with Verizon, and was a member and steward of the C.W.A . in New York. He was a resident of New Fairfield for the past 20 years and a parishioner of Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield.

In addition to his wife Ellen of 30 years, and his mother Anna, Mario is survived by his three children: Thomas J. Venturini of New Fairfield, Kevin W. Venturini of New Milford, and Lauren P. Venturini of New Fairfield, one sister: Joanna Otero and her husband Michael of Wingdale, NY, one brother Joseph Venturini of New York, NY, one niece Christina Otero, and one nephew Anthony Otero.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 23rd at 10:30 am in St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Thursday August 22nd from 4 thru 8pm.
