Maria C. Medeiros

Maria came to this country from Sao Miguel, Azores after she became a widow at a young age with two small children; her youngest only 3 years old, raising them on her own in a foreign place. Maria worked hard to provide everything for her family, always putting them first; right up to her last moments.

Maria Medeiros was an amazing, beautiful, loving, hard- working person. Her pride was her family, she enjoyed having everyone together and creating memories. Maria loved cooking traditional Portuguese dishes especially her tasteful soups and being outside tending to the flower gardens which she always kept looking beautiful. She enjoyed watching her Sunday masses with rosary in hand praying for her loved ones and everyone in need.

Maria was married to Agostinho Medeiros predeceased. She leaves behind her son Manuel Medeiros, daughter in law Cheryl, her daughter Maria Arruda, son in law Laudalino, 16 grandchildren including great grandchildren, family and friends that will miss her tremendously.

The family would like to thank everyone that was a part of Maria’s life. Making her life full of happiness, love and fulfillment. In Maria’s kind, passionate soft voice as she would always say; I (we) love you.
