Maria Graca Silva Lopes

Maria was born in Melo, Portugal, daughter of the late Jose and Ascencao Silva. She had worked for many years for the Fairfield Processing Company of Danbury, prior to retirement.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Clara Tomas and husband Manuel of Round Rock, TX, Maria Oliveira and husband Jorge of Danbury, Carminda Tomas and husband Serafim of Danbury and Anthony Lopes and wife Teresa of Danbury, her grandchildren: Pedro Tomas and wife Laura, Diana Loftis and husband John, Cindy Vaupel and husband Christian, Jennifer and Danny Tomas and Melissa and Steven Lopes, her great grandchildren: Christian Tomas and Elizabeth and Catherine Vaupel, as well as her surviving siblings: Carminda Silva and Virginia Augusto of Melo, Portugal, Antonio Silva of New Bedford, MA and Lurdes Claudio of Marysville, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
