He was born January 20, 1947 in Bronx, NY. He graduated from Dewitt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY in 1964 and went on to New York School of Design in Manhattan. Joseph was drafted in 1967 and joined the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Thailand.
After his service he returned to pursue his talent in art and design, working for Ethan Allen Furniture in both Danbury, CT and Chicago, IL. He loved music and would often be involved with Putnam Choral Group as well as the church choir at Walnut Hill Community Church where he attended.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents Vincent Mandracchia and Josephine Mandracchia and his sister Joann Gallucci. He leaves behind his twin brother James Mandracchia (Sharon) and older Brother Anthony Mandracchia (Bonnie).
His magical presence will be missed by his many nieces and nephews Vincent (Karen), Cindy, Gina, Anthony (Alena), Tricia (James), James(Cheryl), Nathan (Caitlin), Mikaela, Gavin, Fiona, Dylan, Spencer, Emma, William, Isaac, Miles, Vincent and Olivia.
A Celebration of his life will take place June 12, 2022 at Northville Baptist Church, New Milford, CT at 1:00pm
