James L. Kelly

James L. Kelly, 59, of New Fairfield, CT passed away on October 2, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 10, 1963. Predeceased by both his parents, James H. and Elizabeth (Lovin), Kelly, and was raised in Somers, NY.

Jim married his love, Caroline (Weizenecker) Kelly on August 22, 1987, in Brewster, NY.

Jim is survived by his wife Caroline, son, Nicholas James Kelly; his sister and brother-in-law Susan and Daniel Crawford and sister-in-law Nancy Weizenecker. Fondly known as Uncle Jimbo, he is also survived by his nieces and nephews that meant the world to him; Jamie McLaren, Casey McLaren, Liam Burdick, Kimberly (Crawford) Bauer and her husband Robbie Bauer, Timothy Crawford, Kelly Crawford and predeceased by his dear nephew Danny Crawford, Jr. Also 4 precious Grand nieces and nephews; Liam Bauer, Brayden Bauer, Ella Bauer and Remi Abreu. Jim was predeceased by his in-laws Dorothy and Howard Weizenecker, who from the first day felt and treated him like their own son.

Jim will be missed dearly by all that knew him as he had a heart of gold!

A memorial gathering will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St. Danbury CT, on Wednesday October 12, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Committal services will be private.
