Dale, as we all knew her, was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Marjorie (Burns) and William Stewart on September 24th, 1946. She attended Sacred Heart School in Glendale, and Richmond Hill High School in Richmond Hill, both in Queens. Dale is also a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. In addition, Dale also graduated from Western Connecticut State University, where she rekindled her love of writing.
For many years, Dale worked as records coordinator for the Smith Richardson Foundation, and before her move to Connecticut, served as a film director at the Young and Rubicam Ad Agency in Manhattan. She lived her life through a bedrock of strength gained through undiminished faith.
Dale is preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and William, and her brother, William Stewart, Jr. She is survived by her loving brother, Christopher Stewart, his wife Maureen, and their children, Victoria and Ian, her nephew, Glenn Stewart, his wife Lynda, their children, Paige and Samantha, her niece Susan Terragrossa, and husband Sal, and her children, Justin and Cory. Also, her niece Mary Elizabeth Hoczela, her husband Joseph, and their daughter, Emily of North Carolina.
Visitation for Isabelle will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT 06810. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph Church, 1 Obtuse Hill Rd., Brookfield, CT 06804 . Inurnment will follow at St Mary Cemetery, CT-53, Bethel, CT 06801.
