Hoa Van Tran

Hoa is the proud leader of the Tran family as the eldest son of Chu Van Tran (93) and Chop Thi Tran (90) and brother to Diep, Khanh, Oanh, Chien, Tuyet, Dung, and Mai. He is the father of Mary Hao (Tran), Bill Huy (Katie), and Michelle Thuy (Johnny), and grandfather of Matthew Hieu, Carrie Han, Kenneth Huy, Bradley Khoa, Khloe Vy, Olivia Than, and Nicholas Thien. Hoa is preceded in death by his wife Ha Thi Tran.

Hoa was from Haiphong, Vietnam, and led his extended family through immigration to the United States. He was a dedicated worker with a 40-year career in CNC Machining. Hoa enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards, and cooking. He often arranged family Rosary prayer sessions followed by home-cooked food, drink, and laughter. He was the center of the Tran family bringing joy, warmth, and love to all. His last reminder to family and friends is to continue to pray for him.

Family and friends are invited to his wake on Friday, March 17 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT. Family and friends are invited to a Catholic funeral mass on Saturday, March 18 at 10:00 at Saint Peter Church 104 Main Street, Danbury, CT, funeral procession to Saint Peter Cemetery 71 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury, CT, closing with lunch at the Tran Residence 34 Plumtrees Road, Bethel, CT.
