Elizabeth V. Gorman

Born in Norwalk on Jan. 8, 1942, Betty was a daughter of the late Richard J., Jr. and Irma V. (Hull) Gorman. She attended Norwalk Schools and was a 1960 graduate of Norwalk High School. She received her nurse’s training at Norwalk Hospital School of Nursing.

A Registered Nurse at Norwalk Hospital for over 40 years, Betty was Head Nurse in Pediatrics at the time of her retirement.

A devout Catholic, Betty was a member of St. Mary Church in Norwalk. A dedicated supporter of many causes including pediatric health, Betty was also an avid Mets fan.

Survivors include her brothers: Richard J., III and his wife, Kathleen, of Bethel, CT; and Bryan and his wife, Karen, of Florida. 5 nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews also survive.

Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel, CT at the convenience of the family.
