Edward was born on September 3, 1923 in Dexter, Maine to Helen and George Vigue. He graduated from N. H. Fay High School in Dexter. Edward was a World War II veteran. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
He married Adeline (Pavese) Vigue on September 5, 1948 in New Rochelle, NY. Edward worked as commercial painting foreman in New York City until he retired in 1985.
He is survived by his three children, Michele and her husband Gary Yacono of New Fairfield, CT; George Vigue of New Rochelle, NY; and Edward and his wife, Nancy Vigue of Mamaroneck, NY. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and beloved wife, Edward is predeceased by his his daughter-in-law, Patricia Vigue.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bethel Health Care for their loving care.
There will be no calling hours and burial is private. All arrangements will be conducted by Green Funeral Home of Danbury, CT.
