Edward S. Cabral

Edward was the son of the late Manuel & Emilia (Sousa) Cabral. He was predeceased by his sisters Maria Alcina Knapp and Virginia Bass, his brother Armindo Cabral & his niece Shellie Bass.

He leaves behind his sister, Maria Fernanda Bento of Danbury, his brothers Louis Cabral of Bethel, and Lawrence Cabral of Palm Coast, Fl., also brothers-in-law Raymond Bento, Richard Knapp, and Billy Bass, sister-in-law Maria Cabral and Ana Maria Cabral, six nieces, five nephews, nine great nieces & four great nephews.

Edward worked at Heli-Coil for many years. He was a kind human being loved by the family & had a great sense of humor.

We are so grateful to Melissa his former nurse. She went above and beyond, continuing to watch over Edward, taking him shopping, to doctor appointments, and giving him so much support & encouragement, even when she was no longer his appointed nurse. We are forever grateful to this living angel.

The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Tuesday October 3rd from 10:00am until 11:00am.

Funeral services will take place in the funeral home at 11:00am, followed by burial in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
