Dorothy was born on September 28, 1923 in Woodmont, CT. She was the daughter of the late Gazzi G. Bachman and Ethel (Robstock) Bachman.
Dorothy is survived by her children: Newell Jr.; Allen and his wife, Pat; Barry; and Robin von Reyn. Her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother James Bachman and his wife, Jeannie, of Milford, CT.
Dorothy was predeceased by her sons: Guy and Bradley Simmons.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm on Monday, March 9, 2020 at St. Joseph Church, Rt. 25 at 133, Brookfield, CT with the Rev. George F. O' Neill, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Prince Of Peace Cemetery, Brookfield, CT in the Spring.
