Dennis W. Silva, 70, of Danbury, beloved husband of Grace (Strano) Silva, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital, on Sunday, November 2, 2014.
Dennis was born in Danbury, son of the late William and Jean Silva. He attended Danbury schools and had worked for many years as a Motor Vehicle Emissions Inspector for the State of Connecticut.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son William and wife Angelica of Waterbury, his daughter Jennifer Silva Weaver and husband Todd of Danbury, his sisters Darlene Dekker of N.C. and Anita Silva of Danbury, his aunt Louise Miller of New Fairfield, his mother-in-law Teresa Strano of Danbury and his beloved grandchildren: Skyler Weaver, Sebastian Silva and Ariella Silva.
Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, on Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
