I didn't know Craig, but I know his Aunt Karen Ferris and I'm so sorry to hear of this tragedy.   My thoughts and prayers are given to you all in the Ferris families.  RIP

Dear Kelly and Mark, Bobby always loved seeing Craig coming toward him on the dock. Always smiling, that Craig, always.  Always willing to lend a hand, to stop and spend a minute or to offer his help.  He stood out.  He left you feeling good and happy to have seen him.  We can't imagine your loss, your grief but we have memories of your special boy and we'll pray for him and for you.  He made a lot of our lives a little better. Joye I just heard the terrible news. I didn't know Craig but I know how much you loved him and how proud you are of him. I can't imagine the heart break you and your family are feeling. My love and prayers are with you. I remember you talking about him with such love and pride. May God give comfort to you in your memories.

Craig always had a smile and left a positive imprint on all of us at Gems. He had an incredible talent for figuring out problems and improving equipment. Thus, he was extremely popular in a factory setting!  Words cannot describe my sadness for the family and friends of this fine young man.

My heart goes out all of Craig's family and friends. I enjoyed working with Craig on SAE, senior design and I admired the passion and spirit he brought to any project. A UConn alum I will never forget.

Mark, Kelly, Megan...I was so shocked and terribly saddened, when Michelle told me what happened. Kathy and I couldn't be more sorry. 
I've known Craig as long as I've known Mark, through our working together at Pitney Bowes. 15 plus years. Our families and kids grew up together, spending many fun times on Candlewood Lake, with our boats and jet skis. I remember Craig zipping down the lake on what Mark thought was his jet ski...turns out Craig saw this much differently. It was only dads, when it needed fixing. Then, as he got older, he couldn't wait to get his hands on the wheel of dad's super boat. It was great to watch Mark turn his ball cap around on his head, as Craig hammered down on the throttle and the stark look of fear came over Kelly and Megan's faces, sitting in the back. All in the spirit of fun, which was what Craig was all about. 
Craig's character was filled with inquisitiveness and ingenuity...always thinking of how he could help dad and what rig he was going to build next.
Hands on, smart, driven, and very out going are just a few of Craig's outstanding qualities that I learned to grow fond of, from knowing him. Each time I saw him I knew it was going to be a fun experience and it always was.
The world will now be lacking a very talented and ambitious youth, in all that Craig had in front of him to do. 
You will be sorely missed by all those that knew you. God bless you Craig.

A life cut way to short. I will miss him as a good friend and co-worker.

Living in the same neighborhood, we have known Craig and his family for years and have great admiration for all of their talents, love of Life and character of soul.Wonderful Megan was a unbelievable fixture in our lives being my Grand daughters best friend, and we always felt blessed to have her and her family in our Lives.Craig and I shared many of the same passions and I really got to know him when he came to help me on my projects for a summer.I have had help before, but never like Craig. He was the smartest, most decent, and passionate of young men I have ever met, and I never wanted that summer to end when he would return to school. Just like Megan, he was, an exception to the norm, a breath of fresh air, and a delight to be around. I always looked forward to the next time I would see him. My heart goes out to his wonderful family, and beautiful Megan, and I wish there was a way to lessen their pain and loss. All we can do is offer love, support and understanding, and an outstretched hand if it is ever needed,for a tragic loss such as this diminishes us all.You will deeply be missed Craig,you have deeply touched and impacted all our lives,especially mine. The void left by such a soul as Craig's, it impacts so much further than we have begun to grasp. 
He was such a presence in our community, our family, our lives. 
We share this tragedy with you. We are here for you, with all our hearts. Asking for help would bring us comfort, so we await anything you might need. 

My dearest, most favorite, sweet Meg;
If I could lift you up, and hold you above this right now, pluck the pain from your life, and shield you from the loss, I would give anything in this world to do so. I have had so many tears for you. Always know, you are being embraced with love and shrouded in strength. Reach for it and use it when you feel you need it. I love you, and I here for you. So many share this sentiment.

Craig, you are wonderful and caring person who i am going to miss a great deal. Seeing you in your brown hat, singing down the aisle ways at work always smiling and helping. I miss you craig and will see you again. Rest my friend.
