Charlene H. Scribner, 78, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late Clifford Scribner, passed away in Bennington, VT, on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Charlene was born in Danbury, daughter of the late Charles and Edith Abbott. She attended Danbury schools.
She is survived by her three sons: Clifford “Hunter” Scribner (Sarah), of Rutland, VT, Daniel Scribner (Cathleen) and Terry Scribner (Carrie), of South Salem, NY, as well as her sister Cora Muehlfield, of Danbury and her grandchildren: Abby, Carli and Marilyn Scribner.
Funeral services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
