Carmen Teresa Perez

Carmen was born in Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Raymon and Anna Maria (Laporte) Laboy. She attended school in Puerto Rico an immigrated to the United States as a young woman. She had worked for over 33 years as a machine operator for the Barden Company of Danbury and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She is survived by her sons, Michael and Angelo Marerro of Waterbury and Robert Marrero of Danbury, her daughter Nancy Nunez of Stamford, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her sisters; Maria Louisa Recio, Anna Matos, Hilda Beardsley and Maria Ortiz, her brothers; Raymon, Pete and Angelo Laboy, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
