Like The Tides, We Ebb And Flow, Carrying Our Rhythms Into Eternity.
Bridget is survived by her brothers, Sean Murray of Branford, Connecticut, and Eamonn Murray of Cork, Ireland; her children, Kathleen Solway-Kessel of Kent, Connecticut, David Solway (Kelly F. Solway) of Easton, Connecticut, Eamonn Solway (Rebecca Solway) of West Tisbury, Massachusetts, Sean Solway (Lisa Bailly-Solway) of San Anselmo, California, and Michael Solway of Stoughton, Massachusetts; as well as her grandchildren, Shane, Jack, Kate, Megan, Dillon, Lauren, Lyla, Eben, Gabriel, and Tamar.
A longtime resident of Westport, Connecticut, Bridget dedicated many years to working as a visiting home care provider for seniors. She found fulfillment in caring for her elderly clients and often welcomed them into her home for holiday gatherings with her family. In addition to her caregiving work, she was involved in the estate sales business and became well known locally for hosting tag sales at her home on the Saugatuck River on Riverside Avenue. She had a keen eye for discovering hidden value in overlooked items and took great joy in seeing others appreciate these treasures.
Bridget had a love for animals and shared her home with many dogs and cats over the years. She frequently visited the Humane Society with her children and found comfort in caring for animals in need.
In honor of Bridget, donations may be made to the Westport Humane Society.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
