Anthony, known to friends as “Tony”, was born in Yonkers, NY to Anne and Vincent DiDomenico on August 29, 1953. After graduating from Lincoln High School, he spent a short time at Westchester Community College and began his 40-year work career at Friedman-Smith Electronics, lastly known as Reliable Electronics. Anthony was proud of his work from his time at Reliable to his part-time work at the Danbury Fair Mall carousel, to his brief employment at Green Funeral Home.
On July 4, 1982, he married the love of his life, Patricia “Patty”, at the Church of the Assumption in Tuckahoe, NY, and they celebrated 40 loving years together.
A God-loving man, Anthony was active at St. Gregory the Great church in Danbury, volunteering as an usher and eucharistic minister, and was involved in the Saturday morning Men’s Ministry. After his initial introduction to retreats, he further practiced his faith by volunteering at Danbury Emmaus, where he quickly became a brother-and father-figure to teens and adults alike.
Anthony is preceded in death by his father, Vincent, his mother, Anne, his grandparents, his sister, Nancy, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughters Anne-Marie DiDomenico and Noёl Williams, son-in-law Joe Williams, grandsons Ezra and Jude Williams, sister Donna Botts, uncles, aunts, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
