Yvonne Rosina Brown

Yvonne Rosina Brown, age 90, of Richardson, passed away on June 15, 2022. She was born on July 4, 1931 to Alfred R. Johnson and Helen I. Johnson. Yvonne was raised in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing. She married James W. Brown in 1953 and the couple had 7 children. She was a registered nurse and after moving to Texas, worked at Baylor Downtown for many years until she went to Plano General Hospital as Director of Nursing.

In her spare time Yvonne enjoyed sewing, gardening and her grands and great grands. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband, James William Brown and son, Mark William Brown.

Survivors include her sister Barbara H. Johnson of Spokane, Washington, two daughters, Mary Ellen Zboril of Sanger, Eileen D. Wolfe of Plano; four sons, Paul J. Brown of Dallas, Stephen J. Brown of Coppell, Michael G. Brown of Denton, and Daniel T. Brown of Coppell; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated June 30, 2022 with Rosary at 10 am with Mass to follow at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Richardson.
