Went home to be with our LORD and SAVIOR on February 9, 2010. She was the sixth child born on November 1, 1912 to Elisha Winship Stedman and Hattie Toloiah (Porter) Stedman in Teneha, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband Jack Raymond Napier and son Jack Raymond Napier, II. Survived by her daughter Margaret Ann (Napier) Sockrider; granddaughters Tanja Michelle (Dimmitt) Smith and husband Gary Smith, Juliana (Napier) Miller and husband Steve Miller and their daughter, Kayla, Jennifer (Napier) Ring and husband Tim Ring, their children Timothy and Georgia Grace, great-granddaughter Darby Lee Scott and husband Tim Scott and their children Preston, Jacob, Jenna Grace and Braden. She was a long time member of The First United Methodist Church in Angleton, Texas. A nurse, hairdresser and accomplished in piano and china painting, her passions were knitting, cooking and caring for the ill. She was willing to help anyone in need. She loved her family and friends as she was loved. Her kindness, quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by all. Visitation will be held Friday, February 12th at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to International Rett Syndrome Foundation or Susan G. Komen Foundation for Cancer.
