He attended Cumberland Elementary and Crozier Tech before being drafted to war. He proudly served his country in the Army as a Private First Class, in Company B 158th Infantry.
He married the love of his life, Dolores Ortega, and had eight children. He was an Upholsterer for Centennial Radiator and Upholstery for 40 years.
In his spare time, Willie enjoyed watching television, mostly The News, going for walks, playing pool as well as talking with family about his experiences in Japan and the Philippines.
His family and friends will always remember him as a generous person to all he came in contact with.
He is preceded in death by, his wife, Dolores Guevara and son, Wilfredo Guevara and brother Henry Guevara.
Survived by: eldest daughter, Gloria Aragon; eldest son, Willie Guevara Jr.; daughters, Mary Arechiga, Tina Lopez, Janie A. Flores and Wanda Pardo; son, Gabriel Guevara; as well as 82 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Willie was a Great Father and provider for his family and sometimes for his friends. His family will miss him dearly.
